Wow, the response to this article has been amazing. What a great coming out party for us.  I thank each and every one of you for your kind words, Barbara especially. (big group hug)

It means a lot to have the support of our friends here. I almost got cold feet last night when it finally came time to post Silliness. I haven't actually met Michael yet. But hey, life sure does get complicated doesn't it?  I'm just so happy to have found HIM.

Sooooooooooo......grab a sheet and head for the kitchen for another Roman orgy. Sorry, but the Colonel and I no longer partake in such festivities. We're being selfishly monogamous   ;-)

Oh and Marcus, what is this you were saying about "menage a trois"?  You know darned well it was a foursome, you were there having the time of your life!!!

This passage piqued my curiosity.  Would you care to elaborate?  This ties back to the Objectivist notions of exactly what consitutes a mutually beneficial relationship versus a host-parasite relationship.

Pardon?  Seems I've been spending too much time testing recipes and writing business plans...

Oops looks like you've been sprung Marcus!

When dealing with relationship-issues like this remember the three D's:

Deny, deny, deny...

I'm confused. Now this is a "coming out party"??? How do you expect me to wear the right costume if you keep changing your story, Kat?

Seriously though, with all due happiness for the newfound love between Michael and Katdaddy, things have been *way* too mushy around here lately. I think a SOLO murder is needed to provide some balance.

“One even scowled in disgust.”

I never scowled. I said, “Git, git, git on with it, already!”

And there was no disgust! I cannot fathom how I could have been so misunderstood.

I thought I was clear in my wish to direct you two in the whens, the hows and the how muches.

I’m dying to congratulate the two of you. Are we on for Tennessee?

Jon

You mean the four of you and then some? Oh now I remember, that's how I got this sore back holding the camcorder ;-)

Seems I've been spending too much time testing recipes and writing business plans...
Yeah ironically I need to get over there and drag you out of the kitchen :-)

Good morning people, big group hug. Embrace your silliness.

Marcus, good save. You may now try out for the UK dodgeball team. Good luck.

Jon, my bad. I didn't realize that you weren't scowling. Your face apparently froze that way from peeking through the keyhole. Are you in Tennessee? We are actually planning on attending Michael Newberry's exhibit in Chattanookie in May, and would be delighted to meet you. Are you going to this?

Luke, good question but a bit too personal. I will say, however, that I was in a mutually beneficial relationship which turned into a host-parasite relationship that lasted a number of years. My bad again.

Alec, I thought I was clear about the costume. Wear only a sheet. Most people wear a white one, but you can wear pink if you prefer your outfit to match the color of your butt after your spankings. As far as the shooting, what would you pay to see Shayne put out of his misery?

Colonel, I love you. *purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr*

Kat & Michael:

"I haven't actually met Michael yet."

God, I hope you two have compatible pheromones. Welcome back to you both. "Goodbye solo" ??!! Had me going.

Alec:

"I think a SOLO murder is needed to provide some balance. "

I'm mourning the loss of Michael Marotta, "The Master of Obscure Irony", who Linz claims to have had shot.

Kat,
"We are actually planning on attending Michael Newberry's exhibit in Chattanookie in May,.."

One more thing for me to celebrate in May. If that vibe thing ever exists, you would darn feel it coming from me on the day. Best of luck.

You know what, it just struck me now how similar in style that your and Colonel's writings are - this article is almost like written by one person.

Each thinks gently, timidly… “Is this real? Will it end soon? Will the other become a frog, or worse—a dichotomy? Will such uncontrollable happiness be denied? Is this rapturous joy a mere illusion?”

No, those moments that you already had, and that you had shared them with us...they are already among the most beautiful things that I've seen.

I agree. It must be the season. It's the Spring! What are we to do except going with the flow of the nature?!

Alec, even when it comes to love you're rough trade, so why should we *normal* people take your input?

I shudder to say I agree though.  Can I make a list of people I'd like shot?  No two men duking it out in the ring though - that's reserved for people I like

Understood.  Relationships in general and marriages in particular can enable that sort of mooching -- and they can be tough to break.  Thanks for sharing!

Barbara, I was just reading over all this response once again and, sort of you know, gloating, and it struck me that you were aware of Kitten and me before I was - or even Kitten was...

Hmmmm...

Looks like you know me better than I know me.
